Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus Research Study

Study Description

The purpose of this research trial is to evaluate the safety and efficacy of 4 dose levels of a once weekly investigational medication in patients with Type 2 Diabetes.

Do You Qualify?

You may be eligible to participate in this study if you meet the following qualifications:

• 18 -75 years old
• Diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus
• Diabetes treated with Metformin alone  OR  controlled by diet and exercise (diabetic medication naïve)
• HbA_1c between 7.0% and 10.5%

Compensation

»  Study-related care is provided at no cost.

»  Diabetic testing supplies (i.e. - glucometer, test strips) are provided at no cost.

»  A pharmacy card is provided to offset the cost of the patient's Metformin.

»  You may also be compensated for travel.
