Study Description

A study evaluating the effectiveness of an injectable investigational medication in relieving Chronic Low Back Pain (CLBP) in patients with CLBP and osteoarthritis (OA) of the knee or hip when treated for up to 16 weeks. 

Do You Qualify?

You may be eligible to participate in this study if you meet the following qualifications:

  • 18 years of age or older
  • Diagnosis of moderate to severe CLBP for at least 3 months
  • Diagnosis of OA in at least one knee or hip joint
  • History of inadequate relief of CLBP from non-pharmacologic therapy 

    (e.g. - exercise, physical therapy, acupuncture, or multidisciplinary rehabilitation)

  • History of inadequate relief or intolerance to analgesics used for CLBP
  • History of regular analgesic medication use

** An analgesic is any member of the group of medications used to achieve relief from pain. **

Compensation

Study related care is provided at no cost.

You may also be compensated for travel.
